Personal & Family Protection Dogs
RGR understands the evolving need for security for you and your family that may not involve firearms due to comfort levels, or laws preventing the possession and use of a firearm. We can help fill that gap to meet your needs.
RGR protection animals are social to people and other dogs; and can be acclimated to livestock, other animals, and rotary and fixed wing aircraft if desired. They can be handled by young children in the event of an emergency, and will be fully integrated into your security plan during our turnover of the dog with you and your family, at your residence. Puppies and Green Police K9s Available
RGR Malinois occasionally breeds KNPV working line puppies from some of the best bloodlines in Europe. Our puppies that we have bred and/or raised and trained can be found in protection sport homes, personal protection homes or as law enforcement animals. Our litters are generally sold out before they are born, and we do not breed often. Please contact us to talk to us more about what you are looking to do with your puppy, and how we can help you!
We are also happy to have partnered with a current SWAT K9 handler, who knows what it takes to put dogs on the street. We are happy to work with your department to source SOLID single and dual purpose animals. These dogs are not going to need "fixing" the second they are certified. We ensure the animals are solid before putting lives on the line. Contact us today for your next police service animal!
Your Top Working Dog Kennel in Southern Florida
RGR Malinois was started out of a passion for working dogs. Our kennel is located in Southern Florida. We are an economically disadvantaged, minority, service disabled Veteran, woman-owned small business. Our goal is to breed, procure, or import healthy working dogs for law enforcement, federal agencies, sport work, and personal protection. Additionally, we offer consulting or training services to those wishing to use canines in law enforcement roles. We strive for health & longevity, solid nerves, environmental soundness and extreme drives that are necessary for these types of work.
RGR Malinois owner, Stephanie Garcia, brings years of business acumen and aviation military experience to the table. For a decade, Stephanie has been embedded in the Army aviation community first as a crew chief on UH-60 Blackhawks in an air assault unit; and later as a pilot in the same assault unit as rated aviator in the UH-60 A/L and M models. In 2019, she transitioned to the AH-64D Apache, and was medically retired in 2022. She continues flying, but this time as an airline pilot.
Stephanie’s experience with ground force commanders as an aviator has allowed her to gain knowledge of tactics involving the use of canine assets as a force multiplier in ground combat and use in search and rescue operations. Her studies in canine behavior and training led her to form RGR Malinois, and tip the hat to her military service with the acronym ‘RGR.’
